About Adriana: Two Professionals in One — Design & Real Estate Business Leader
Adriana Ares is a multidisciplinary design and real estate professional with expertise in interior design, real estate, business development, marketing, and operations. Her career began in higher education administration while completing her Master’s in Interior Design at Florida International University. During her 18+ years at FIU, she held leadership roles spanning facilities management, business operations, academic affairs, student affairs, and event administration. Her academic and professional experience culminated in a master’s thesis focused on how student center design can support student success and engagement.
Adriana later expanded her career into South Florida real estate, building experience in residential sales, real estate investing, private lending, property renovations, residential design, and portfolio management. As a licensed Florida real estate professional since 2016 and the founder of Adri By Design LLC, she combines design expertise with a strong understanding of real estate value, investment strategy, and the business of property.
Today, Adriana also serves in a business development and marketing leadership capacity within the architecture industry, where she applies her experience in branding, business development, proposal development, client relations, operations, and project coordination to help grow and position an architecture practice for long-term success.
Adriana is also pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration at Florida International University, further developing her expertise in organizational strategy, leadership, and business performance. Her career reflects a unique intersection of design, real estate, and business — allowing her to approach projects not only from a creative perspective, but also through the lens of investment, operations, strategy, and long-term value.
